Rare Find Talent:a recruiting site with its own candidate pipeline.
Rare Find Talent is a boutique executive search firm. I built its website and the candidate pipeline behind it: a five-step application with resume upload, spam protection, and a private dashboard where the recruiter reviews every applicant. Candidate data lands in storage the firm owns, not in a job board’s database.

What Rare Find Talent needed
A small search firm runs on trust. Candidates need a polished place to apply, and the recruiter needs every resume in one place the firm controls. The usual answers are a job board, which owns the first contact with the candidate, or an applicant tracking system with far more features than a one-recruiter firm will ever use.
What I built for Rare Find Talent
- 01
A site written for senior candidates
A fast, polished site that explains the firm’s executive search, contract placement and career coaching, for the candidates and the companies hiring them.
- 02
Five-step application with resume upload
Candidates apply in five short steps and attach a PDF resume. Each step checks its fields before moving on, so incomplete applications do not reach the recruiter.
- 03
Spam and abuse protection
Every submission passes a Cloudflare Turnstile check and server-side rate limiting before anything is stored.
- 04
Data the firm owns
Resumes go to private file storage, each application becomes a row in a Google Sheet the firm controls, and an email alert goes out for every submission.
- 05
A private recruiter dashboard
The recruiter signs in with a one-time link sent by email, with no password to forget, and reviews candidates and resumes in one place.
